En su cumpleaños 17, Justin Bieber llama a hacer donativos

La estrella adolescente canadiense Justin Bieber pidió hoy a sus fans en su cumpleaños 17 donaciones para la organización benéfica "Charity: Water".

"Tuve un año increíble y agradezco a mis fans por poder hacer realidad mis sueños", escribió Bieber en la página web de la organización.

"Por eso quiero que este año mi cumpleaños sirva para ayudar a otros.

En vez de regalos quisiera que mis amigos, familiares y fans donen 17 dólares (12 euros) para hacer algo útil".

Las donaciones son para proyectos humanitarios para agua potable en países en desarrollo.

Los donantes pueden seguir por fotos los avances de los distintos proyectos. Hasta esta tarde unos 1.297 fans habían donado casi 31.000 dólares e incluso superaron ampliamente la meta de 17.000 dólares.
