Lamborghini Murciélago

Lamborghini Murciélago

Few automotive names create the level of excitement, as does the Lamborghini Murciélago. Available in 2007 as a coupe and roadster, the Murciélago beats with the heart of a 6.2-liter V-12 engine. The mid-engine is linked to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed sequential automatic tranny, and permanent 4-wheel drive. Top speed is capped at 211 miles per hour, and the Murciélago shoots from 0-to-62 mph in 3.4-seconds. Sensuous body stands a mere 3.7-feet tall, and is composed of carbon fiber, except for steel doors and roof. An optional transparent hood cover exposes the magnificent V-12. A rear spoiler is electronically controlled, with first step at 81 miles per hour, and second step level at 137 mph. Included in the engine management system is individual static ignition, fuel injection, drive-by-wire technology, and traction control.
